The Guild of Catholic Women, Inc. will renew spiritual and social support to members and will actively promote volunteer services to support community needs with continued support of existing programs.
The Guild of Catholic Women, Inc. exists to engage in philanthropic, service and educational works within the community, while enhancing the spiritual and social lives of its members.
In our work with mental health issues, GCW partners with Guild Incorporated, the professional arm of our collaboration.
Each year, Guild Incorporated serves more than 1000 individuals with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or major depression. Government support has been evaporating rapidly, with the burden being placed on the private sector to ensure that these vulnerable people get the services and help they deserve and need to live quality lives.
The Guild of Catholic Women supports Guild Incorporated programs through fundraising, volunteering, and public education. The money we raise provides direct services for Guild Incorporated clients in housing, social opportunities, and special needs such as eyeglasses, car insurance, help with bills or travel expenses to visit family. We also have set up an Endowment at the Saint Paul Foundation, the interest from which will be given in perpetuity to Guild Incorporated for its programs.
With less government help each and every year, it becomes more critical to have another way to keep services available, and your support of GCW helps to keep our clients lives rich, full, and comfortable.
